tell me how to transfer my pix from my window photos gallery to my mail to send to friends?

I loaded my pictures to my computer from my digital camera. The pictures are still in the Windows photo gallery but my destination is my email and facebook accounts.

there should be an "attach files" button on any email site, and Facebook has a site on your profile, not your home page, but your profile
