According to your explanation, I think you can directly use PowerPoint to make a slideshow and embed it into the website. PowerPoint can realize the function and effects that you want, and it is easy for most of us to use.
After you finished the design of the PowerPoint slideshow, you can use some tools to convert it to Flash, such as "PPT2Flash Std", "Articulate Presenter" or something.
I always upload my works on my blog and other related web sites, I want share my photos directly online with people who interested in. I used PowerPoint to make slideshow, it is easy to use and you can add lots of editing and multimedia elements in your slideshow. But
PowerPoint cannot be shown directly on Internet, so I use this tools to covert PowerPoint slideshow to Flash, so I can directly show my work on Internet.I am using PPT2Flash Std and I think it’s easy to use, hope it can help you:

You can set a HTML tag to make music play when you load a page, but it’s not recommended.

Your best bet would be to make a combined slideshow viewer and music player as a combined thing in Flash (or Silverlight).

You can find tutorials easily enough for a Flash slideshow viewer and a Flash music player. Just combine the tutorials to make what you want. I haven’t looked, but you may even be able to find a combined one if you look hard enough.

make the page add the photo’s ,
and with the Program that u use to create pages, add a .wav Sound!
