How do I open Windows photo gallery pics on a mac?

I’m trying to get pictures from my PC onto my friends Mac. They open in the typical Windows Photo Gallery on mine, but her laptop won’t recognize them. Under properties their origin says Picassa.
I suck with computers, so thanks for any help.

You will need to save all of those files as .jpg files. .jpg files will be recognized by the Mac and can be opened in Preview or iPhoto.

How to delete images in windows photo gallery without deleting it from your files?

When I delete an image, it will be removed from my files too cuz windows photo gallery and my files are interconnected. So, I have no more choice than to leave unwanted images on photo gallery once it accidentally gets there. Or maybe I just don’t know how to manage Windows photo gallery.

See the link below, it should answer your question.

Basically, all photos under My Documents will automatically get recognised by Photo Gallery. In order to have photos not show up in Photo Gallery automaticall, you need to move them to another location. (say c:\Photos\ for example). Doing this enables you to import any of those photos (or folders) into Photo Gallery and also to removed them without deleting the poriginal files.

How do i open my pictures with window photo gallery?

something went wrong and now every time i open my pictures to see it bigger it opens in window media player. i want all the pictures to open in window photo gallery without having to go through the steps of right clicking the picture and then going to open with and click on window photo gallery.

please help.

try this

right click
click properties
and on the general tab click change
and select your program you might have to brows
